Builder’s White in all the rooms. That is what you usually find in a new construction home or renovation.
What easier way than color to change the entire look of a room or entire house. From just an accent wall to repainting the entire room can change the entire look and feel of the room.
If you have a newer home, it was probably painted with an off-white color such as linen white or Navajo white. The walls are still in great shape but a color change can make the home yours.
The picture below is a home in a 55 plus community that the owner purchased new from the builder. She had lived in the house for two years but it never felt hers until she had “her colors’ applied
In the above room we made the following changes:
- light sand and applied one coat of semigloss trim paint.
- applied an accent color over the fireplace mantel.
- painted the reset area over the fireplace to accent the homeowners favorite picture
- Painted all the walls with an eggshell finish.
As you can see the entire room has a new look and feels much warmer now that it has color and now feels like our customer’s home as the homeowner has told us.
