August 20, 2015Project Spotlight: The Grand Room in Andover 01810
August 25, 2015The National Parks bathrooms, not something that is discussed on a regular basis.
This weeks paint project’s spotlight are the bathrooms we paint for the National Parks in New England.
These National Park bathrooms are equipped with Clivus of New England toilet systems which are virtually maintenance free as compared to other bathroom facilities.
We have painted over 40 of these toilets houses in the past four years. These facilities are built and painted in Boxford, MA and then transported to different National Parks all over New England and New York.
Some of the places you will find them are Parks and recreation facilities, nature centers, ‘green buildings’, and, more recently, commercial operations. Today Clivus systems are used in projects calling for thousands of daily toilet uses, in all geographies and climates, and in countries throughout the world.
The facilities are outfitted with solar for power and lighting, virtual maintenance free interior, and Hardi plank siding in most cases painted in colors to blend into the surroundings as many are in the forest and beaches. A flat sheen of paint is usually used on the exterior of the building and door so in the future if needed, paint touch ups will blend and not be as visible if a higher sheen paint was used.
